Today we celebrate the legacy Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. We honor his words, actions, and legacy in order to reflect on the injustices happening in our world today.

As we remember Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.'s, message and vision, it is important we take today and from now on to continue to educate ourselves and push for the same equality Dr.King was fighting for. On this day, we are reminded not only of the incredible and influential work Dr.King did, but the work we still need to do as a country.

I am hopeful we as a generation will get closer to holding everyone equal and reforming the systems that were meant to oppress. We will be the change we wish to see In the world.
