Reusable Pad Donation to local Women's shelter
The Reusable pad drive was created to provide sustainability for women who face period poverty. Reusable pads allow those with a menstrual cycle to save money and resources. With extensive research, GGB Miami found the benefits of reusable pads and searched for the best quality pads to distribute to Broward partnership (a local women's shelter) and donated over 250 pads!
In Florida, the Muslim population is large but accessible resources are limited for the community; especially during Ramadan. Many families struggle to afford Iftar and turn to local mosques to break their fast. GGB Miami cooked and served meals at a local mosque to provide a variety of food options for those observing Ramadan!
